At Grow Doug, we stand behind what we sell. Healthy soil takes time — we don't promise overnight results — but if something's wrong with your order, we'll make it right.

OUR SATISFACTION PROMISE
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact us. We'll listen, review your situation, and work with you on a fair solution — which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
Because our products are organic fertilizers and soil amendments, we cannot accept returns of opened or used product. This is standard for consumable garden products and helps us maintain quality and safety for every customer.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ORDERS
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item is damaged in shipping or defective (wrong product, missing items, broken seal, clearly compromised bag, etc.), contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos of the product and packaging
We'll review your case and, when the issue is on our end, arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
RETURNS
We do not accept returns on:
- Opened or used fertilizer, soil amendments, or bagged/pelleted products
- Products purchased on final sale or clearance (if applicable)
- Gift cards
Unopened, unused items may be considered for return on a case-by-case basis. Contact us before sending anything back — do not send returns without our approval. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to the nature of our products, the following cannot be returned:
- Perishable or consumable goods (including fertilizer, soil amendments, and similar garden products) once opened or used
- Custom or special-order items
- Subscription or bundle components that have already shipped and been opened
If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, email us before ordering or before requesting a return.
REFUNDS
When a refund is approved:
- It will be issued to your original payment method
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or card issuer
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return or refund is due to our error (for example, a wrong or damaged item)
We do not offer refunds based on plant performance, growing results, or timing of visible improvement — every garden, soil, and season is different. Our guarantee is about your order and our product, not a specific outcome in your yard.
EXCHANGES
If you received the wrong item or a defective product, we'll prioritize getting you the correct product. Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
